The "Jesus, Take the Wheel" singer won the fourth season of the popular singing competition show in 2005. The Israel Defense Forces (IDF) announced the death of Fuad Shukr, the Hezbollah commander who was behind a drone strike that killed 12 children and teens over the weekend. Shukr, who was also known as Hajj Mohsin, joined Hezbollah in 1985. He was also sought by the U.S. government over his connection to the 1983 Beirut barracks bombing, which targeted U.S. Marines.  Shukr served as a senior adviser to Hezbollah leader Hassan Nasrallah at the time of his death. He died in an IDF strike on Tuesday in southern Beirut, Lebanon. The IDF confirmed the news in a press release, announcing that its fighter jets "eliminated the Hezbollah terrorist organization's most senior military commander [Shukr]."  Hezbollah has not confirmed that Shukr is deceased. A Georgia man's encounter with a mass gathering of alligators in the Okefenokee Swamp that was captured on video has prompted researchers to investigate why so many of them congregated in a relatively small stretch of canal. Marty Welch and his wife were boating through the Georgia swamp at Stephen C. Foster State Park on their way to Billy's Lake when they happened upon the gator cluster, he told Fox News Digital. A migrant living in the United States illegally shot and wounded a Texas police officer in an early morning confrontation on Sunday, multiple law enforcement sources tell Fox News. Venezuelan national Jorge Chacon-Gutierrez, 25, died during the shootout with San Antonio Police Department (SAPD) officers. It is unclear if he was killed by officers or if he committed suicide. A neighbor of Katie Crooks said she moved out of her family home three years ago into an apartment – and that her now notorious brother helped her transfer her belongings.
