Trans athlete speaks out against colleges for not offering full scholarship to compete as women's runner

Transgender NCAA track and field athlete Sadie Schreiner released a social media video complaining about the lack of transfer opportunities for trans athletes in college this year. Schreiner, who has competed at the Division-III Rochester Institute of Technology, lamented the lack of options that have been presented to trans athletes looking to transfer this year, as 25 U.S. states have enacted laws to prevent trans inclusion in women's sports. "Among all the hurdles transfers usually have, there is an extra layer because it is trans, 50% of the country banned me from participating and that meant I couldn't attend any of those colleges even if they reached out to me with a full ride," Schreiner said. However, the laws in place wouldn't bar Schreiner from "attending" those colleges, just from competing on women's sports teams. Texas Longhorns quarterback Arch Manning on Monday shot down rumors he had made plans to enter the transfer portal at the end of the season as the team prepared for its next College Football Playoff matchup against Arizona State. Saquon Barkley ’s magical 2024 season with the Philadelphia Eagles continued Sunday as he became the ninth player to ever rush for 2,000 yards or more in the win over the Dallas Cowboys. Chargers rout Patriots in blowout victory to clinch playoff berth

The Los Angeles Chargers clinched a playoff berth in head coach Jim Harbaugh’s first season, beating the New England Patriots 40-7 on Saturday. A taxi cab plowed into a group of pedestrians in busy New York City , leaving at least six injured at an iconic tourist hot spot on Christmas Day. President-elect Donald Trump's defamation suit against ABC was formally dismissed after he reached a settlement worth $15 million with the network and its top anchor, George Stephanopoulos. The Washington Commanders never lost hope and were able to dig out from five turnovers to turn around and stun the Philadelphia Eagles on Sunday, 36-33. ICE nabs several migrants convicted of child molestation, one convicted murderer, in blue state suburbs

NCAA prez suggests onus on female athletes to use other facilities if uncomfortable sharing with trans players

NCAA president Charlie Baker sent a message to women's college athletes who are uncomfortable sharing locker rooms with transgender athletes on Tuesday, putting the responsibility of their own safety squarely on the women themselves. During a Senate Judiciary Committee hearing over legalized sports gambling, Sen. Josh Halwey, R-Mo., questioned Baker about the NCAA's policies that have allowed trans athletes to compete on women's teams. A judge denied Garth Brooks' request to dismiss a sexual assault lawsuit filed by a former makeup artist, according to documents obtained by Fox News Digital. U.S. District Judge Michael Fitzgerald denied Brooks' motion to dismiss the complaint filed in the central district of California due to an "original action" still pending in another state.
