Cody Rhodes hangs on to WWE title as Clash in Italy match vs Gunther ends in controversy

Controversial officiating clearly isn’t limited to the NFL or the NBA. The Undisputed WWE Championship match between Cody Rhodes and Gunther on Sunday at Clash in Italy was also hit with a wonky decision from referee Dan Engler. ZERO BS. JUST DAKICH. TAKE THE DON'T @ ME PODCAST ON THE ROAD. DOWNLOAD NOW! Rhodes and Gunther were in the midst of a fast-moving end to their match. The "American Nightmare" hit Gunther with a second Cross Rhodes, landing Gunther near the ropes. Rhodes put a pin on Gunther and the referee began his count. The broadcast showed Gunther’s foot underneath the ropes, which should have broken the count. However, Engler wasn’t looking at Gunther’s legs as he counted for Rhodes. The defending champion kept Gunther’s shoulders down for the three count, stunning Gunther. "The Ring General" rolled out of the ring and kept signaling to Engler that his foot was under the rope. Chris Richards won't travel for USMNT friendly as ankle injury clouds World Cup preparations for breakout star

The United States’ men’s national team already has a major injury question mark before the 2026 FIFA World Cup even kicks off. Chris Richards, the 26-year-old who many believe is the best defender on the USMNT heading into the tournament, won’t be traveling for the team’s international friendly against Senegal on Sunday. Manager Mauricio Pochettino said that Richards is dealing with an ankle injury that has kept him out of Crystal Palace’s last two matches of the season. And even worse for fans, there’s currently no public timetable for his return. CLICK HERE FOR MORE SPORTS COVERAGE ON FOXNEWS.COM "I think he needs to keep doing his rehab," Pochettino said, per the New York Post . "I think it’s much better to stay here and plan to train and [see] next week how it is." Jaxson Dart and Abdul Carter hug out differences, but neither apologizes over Trump dispute

Jaxson Dart spoke to reporters about his well-chronicled introduction of President Donald Trump at a rally last week and after he was done, it was Abdul Carter's turn to make his way to the microphone. As the two New York Giants teammates passed each other, they embraced. The Giants want the world to know there is no beef inside their locker room in general, or between the two players in particular despite the fact the starting quarterback supports Trump and the blossoming defensive lineman has an obvious distaste for the president. But there's a catch amid all this understanding: While these two guys may not dislike each other, they do not agree. Even now. ZERO BS. JUST DAKICH. TAKE THE DON'T @ ME PODCAST ON THE ROAD. DOWNLOAD NOW! "Some things are bigger than football, and this is one of those things," Carter told reporters. "Jaxson is one of our leaders. He's the face of our franchise. He not only represents himself and what he does, but he represent...

Putin lands $16.5B nuclear win on Russia’s doorstep in massive Kazakhstan pact: reports

Russia signed a landmark nuclear agreement with Kazakhstan on Thursday to build the Central Asian country’s first-ever commercial power plant, marking a major geopolitical and economic victory for President Vladimir Putin, according to reports. The $16.5 billion project, signed during high-level bilateral talks in Astana between Putin and Kazakh President Kassym-Jomart Tokayev, will be backed by a Russian export loan covering roughly 85% of the total cost, Reuters reported. Rosatom, Russia’s state-run nuclear corporation, will lead construction near the village of Ulken in southeastern Kazakhstan along the shores of Lake Balkhash. Rosatom secured the primary construction mandate after beating out competition from China National Nuclear Corp., France’s EDF and Korea Hydro & Nuclear Power, the outlet said. Mike Vrabel, one month after starting 'counseling,' tells reporters he loves his wife

Mike Vrabel stepped away from the New England Patriots during the third day of the NFL Draft and had previously said he'd be getting "counseling" following the soap opera revelations of his relationship with reporter Dianna Russini. Well, speaking with reporters for the first time since the draft, the coach offered an update on the process of getting things back in order. " Really good," Vrabel said. "I appreciate that my family is great. I love [wife] Jen [Vrabel], I love the boys, I love my personal friends..." This is nice. It obviously doesn't mean the scandal that plagued Vrabel throughout April is over. No telling what another photo drop of Vrabel and Russini together, of which there have been a few, might do. And his update on Wednesday is also only his opinion and we don't know how his family members feel. DRAKE MAYE VOICES SUPPORT FOR PATRIOTS COACH MIKE VRABEL AS OFF-FIELD CONTROVERSY CONTINUES TO SWIRL But this seems positive. Vrabe...

Woman killed by flying restaurant umbrella in freak accident at South Carolina lakeside restaurant

A freak accident involving a restaurant umbrella in a small South Carolina lake town led to a woman's death over the weekend, according to local authorities. Dana Weinger, 56, was enjoying a night out at Driftwood Grill Home of the Lazy Gator at Lake Marion in Summerton, South Carolina, with her husband and other family members Saturday night when a gust of wind dislodged an umbrella, turning it into a projectile.  The umbrella struck Weinger in the neck, severing her carotid artery, Clarendon County Sheriff Tim Baxley told WIS 10 . Local EMS workers responded to the scene, where Weinger was found unresponsive. She died at the scene. Notre Dame's Josh Yago delivers Memorial Day salute during anthem before lacrosse championship game

Notre Dame's Josh Yago delivered one of the best scenes of Memorial Day before the NCAA Division I men’s lacrosse championship even started. Yago, a graduate transfer from Air Force and a second lieutenant in the U.S. Space Force, stood at attention and saluted during the national anthem before Notre Dame faced Princeton on Monday afternoon in Charlottesville. It was an awesome moment. Several videos of Yago posted on social media quickly racked up hundreds of thousands of views. "SportsCenter" posted the full video of Yago standing on the Notre Dame sideline in full Fighting Irish gear, helmet off, with his right hand raised in salute while "The Star-Spangled Banner" played. KID ROCK SHARES PATRIOTIC MEMORIAL DAY TRIBUTE TO FALLEN US TROOPS On a normal day, it would've been a cool moment. On Memorial Day? It was perfect. Yago isn’t just another college athlete who happened to be shown on camera during the anthem. He spent his first four years at Air Forc...

Drew Carey calls Spencer Pratt a 'serial scammer' and urges LA voters to reject his mayoral campaign

Drew Carey criticized Spencer Pratt’s run for Los Angeles mayor in a blunt social media post. The "Price is Right" host waded into the political waters with a Threads post and encouraged LA residents to think again before June primaries. "Anyone who votes for, or endorses Spencer Pratt for Mayor of LA needs to get their head out of their a--," Carey wrote. "I understand being angry/unsatisfied, but at least get behind someone competent and not some serial scammer without a soul or moral compass." SPENCER PRATT VOWS TO LEAVE LA AND FIND 'LAST AMERICAN DREAM' IN ANOTHER CITY IF MAYORAL BID FAILS He added, "F--k this guy already." Representatives for Pratt and Carey did not immediately respond to Fox News Digital's request for comment. Pratt, 42, has been a vocal champion for LA residents since losing his home during the deadly 2025 Palisades wildfire, and launched his mayoral campaign in January with a focus on ousting incumbent Kare...

Patton Oswalt says Bill Maher was wrong to try to 'placate' Trump, argues it always backfires

Comedian Patton Oswalt criticized "Real Time" host Bill Maher this week over what he described as Maher’s attempts to "placate" President Donald Trump, arguing the comedian was wrong to believe he could find common ground with Trump without eventually becoming a target himself. "The reason that Trump is turning on Bill Maher is because Bill tried to, I’m sure with good intentions, placate him and you can’t do that with him," Oswalt told SiriusXM host Dean Obeidallah , contrasting Maher's approach to notoriously anti-Trump hosts like Jimmy Kimmel and Stephen Colbert. "Colbert and Kimmel... Trump hates them, but he hates them because they don’t love him. He wants them to love him, and then the minute they love him, he has zero respect for them because, deep down, he hates himself," he resumed. "You just have to stick with your guns and just go, 'Yeah, this guy sucks.' In the long run, it will pay out, and anyone who does business ...

Indiana sheriff's deputy shot three times in hospital ER after stopping to help stranded motorist

An Indiana sheriff’s deputy was shot three times Friday morning in a hospital emergency room by a stranded motorist he had stopped to help and later learned might be connected to an earlier crime, authorities said. La Porte County Sheriff's Deputy Jon Samuelson, a 12-year veteran of the force, was airlifted to South Bend Memorial Hospital and remains in critical condition. The alleged gunman, Sharod Grafton Jr., was arrested in the woods near the hospital minutes after the shooting. Samuelson, 33, was driving to a training session around 6:45 a.m. when he stopped to help a stranded motorist, Grafton, on State Road 2, authorities said. At some point the deputy took Grafton, a Chicago resident, to Franciscan Hospital in Michigan City at his request, police said. Tennis player Daniel Altmaier punts racket into crowd, shockingly avoids disqualification

There is a rather distinct line in tennis that players can't cross when it comes to letting out frustrations. Kicking your racket into the crowd would constitute as crossing said line, yet somehow, Germany’s Daniel Altmaier came away relatively unscathed. During the second set of his quarterfinal matchup against American Tommy Paul in the Hamburg Open on Thursday, Altmaier threw his racket onto the court after Paul broke his serve. Tennis players throw and destroy their rackets all the time, but Altmaier took things a significant step further. With his racket bouncing back toward him after ricocheting off his bench, the German decided to kick his racket. The racket made its way back to him a second time, and he elected to deliver just one more kick for good measure, which sent the piece of hardware a couple of rows into the crowd. The gentleman who caught the racket and casually tossed it back to the 27-year-old player didn't think too much of the situation, and the same goes...

Combat sports promoter shuts down critics that Ronda Rousey's comeback fight was scripted

Ronda Rousey turned back the clock after being out of the Octagon for nearly a decade. Arguably the greatest women's mixed martial artist ever, Rousey fought Gina Carano on Saturday after not fighting since Dec. 30, 2016, and she looked like her vintage self. Rousey got Carano in an arm bar and earned a victory by submission just 17 seconds into the fight. It was the 13th victory of her career, and the 10th that came inside the first 70 seconds. All but one of Rousey's victories came in the first round. CLICK HERE FOR MORE SPORTS COVERAGE ON FOXNEWS.COM However, some critics say the event, run by Jake Paul's Most Valuable Promotions, was scripted. Paul is hardly a stranger to those allegations, but the ones regarding Rousey-Carano reached a new level for Paul's business partner, Nakisa Bidarian. "I think the Jake Paul allegations are more outlandish, honestly. With Ronda, it’s just a lack of knowledge from people who don't know who she is or what she does,...

Stephen A Smith fires back at Jaylen Brown after Celtics star called him the 'face of clickbait media'

Stephen A. Smith is firing back at Jaylen Brown after the Boston Celtics star called the popular ESPN personality the "face of clickbait media" during a Twitch live stream over the weekend. Brown referred to Smith as a "clown" as well, but the veteran sports pundit took time on Monday’s edition of "First Take" to address those comments in a long rant of his own. "I’m not going to disrespect Jaylen Brown," Smith said. "…He’s pointing the finger in the wrong direction. Point it at yourself, bro." Brown responded on Sunday night by telling the ESPN personality to "be quiet." "Did he just say I needed to be quiet? Be quiet for who?" Brown said Sunday night. "Man, f...

Watch out: The hole locations for PGA Championship round three are absolutely diabolical

There’s been a lot of talk about the pin locations at this year’s PGA Championship at Aronimink Golf Club. The windy conditions have made the course difficult enough. World No. 1 Scottie Scheffler called Friday's pin locations for round 2, "kind of absurd" and "the hardest set of pin locations that I've seen since I've been on Tour." It seems the greenskeepers and superintendent pulled a Michael Jordan and took those comments personally. Today’s pin locations are some of the most difficult, diabolical, insane, and any synonym of the word crazy you can think of.  The PGA Championship’s official X account shared the pin location for Saturday’s round 3 and they are wild. Just take a look at holes 8 and 12. What a nightmare. Minnesota Timberwolves are cooked: Why San Antonio Spurs close out the series and cover in Game 6

The San Antonio Spurs (3-2) look to punch their ticket to the Western Conference Finals when they visit the Minnesota Timberwolves (2-3) at the Target Center Friday for Game 6.  San Antonio crushed Minnesota in a pivotal Game 5, 126-97, to take control of the series. Victor Wembanyama got revenge for getting tossed in the first half of Game 4 for elbowing T-Wolves big Naz Reid Tuesday. Wembanyama had game-highs in points (27) and rebounds (17) in Game 5.  Timberwolves All-Star Anthony Edwards has been fantastic while playing through injury in this series. Ant-Man is averaging a team-high 23.6 points in this series on 50.6% shooting and 40.0% from behind the arc. His teammates, on the other hand, not so much.  I’ll get into that below as part of my betting analysis for Spurs-Timberwolves Game 6.  There are two reasons why I’m betting San Antonio to wrap this series up Friday and cover the spread. First, Edwards doesn’t have enough help. Second, the only games the Spurs have lost in t...

Navy SEAL veteran warns China, Russia are watching US-Iran war to gauge American military strength

Navy SEAL veteran Jack Carr warned that U.S. foreign adversaries will take note if the United States loses the Iran War as the conflict drags into a third month. Carr said nations like China and Russia are watching U.S. military actions, taking note of American capabilities, while referencing the lessons the nations learned from the United States' handling of the Afghanistan War. "What do we think North Korea is learning? What do we think Iran is learning from what we did in Afghanistan and how we spent 20 years there — we had 20 years to prepare to exit and that was the best that we could do?" Carr said on " Hang Out with Sean Hannity ." "They're taking lessons from that. That's why what we're doing now is a reset." MORNING GLORY: TRUMP HAS RESTORED THE GOP AS THE PARTY OF DEFENSE AND DETERRENCE The SEAL veteran said President Donald Trump ’s war on Iran is a "reset," and foreign adversaries are monitoring the outcome. Ex-BLM activist exposes left wing 'indoctrination,' reveals why he walked away

A former Black Lives Matter activist pulled back the curtain on what he called the "fraud" and "indoctrination" of the radical left, explaining why he came to believe the movement he supported was a "scam." Xaviaer DuRousseau said he spent his youth supporting liberal causes, describing himself as the kid in college "spreading woke stuff on campus," but that his awakening came during the 2020 George Floyd riots. He joined "The Riley Gaines Show" podcast to discuss the turning point that changed his mind. "Socialism has literally never worked. BLM has always been a scam and the Democratic Party has always been the party of racism and violence," DuRousseau said. "I have just been drinking the Kool-Aid because this was the indoctrination that was put upon me from the age of a little child," he added. WHEN THE LEFT MADE HIM ANGRY, MAGA HULK WAS BORN DuRousseau, who is now a conservative content creator and a personali...
