President Xi [Jinping] has openly said it," Haley said, addressing the American Enterprise Institute in Washington, D.C. "We should take him at his word and act accordingly. Instead, President Biden continues to dither. His action makes conflict more likely. We must act now to keep the peace and prevent war. And we need a leader who will rally our people to meet this threat – on every front." Haley argued that the U.S. must rally more nations to its side by deepening miliary ties with Japan, South Korea and Australia and by forging stronger bonds with India and the Philippines. "And ...

Biden faces backlash for Camp David guest after IRS whistleblower allegations exposed: 'Business to discuss?'

The White House received backlash Saturday after it was reported that Hunter Biden was accompanying his father to Camp David amid bombshell whistleblower allegations of political corruption, along with recently pleading guilty to federal tax charges and agreeing to plea deal on a felony gun charge. The House Ways and Means Committee revealed on Thursday its interview with an IRS whistleblower last month who shared a WhatsApp message from 2017 where Hunter Biden allegedly told a Chinese business associate he and his father would ensure "you will regret not following my direction."  "I am sitting here with my father and we would like to understand why the commitment made has not been fulfilled," Hunter Biden told Henry Zhao, the director of Harvest Fund Management, in the message provided by IRS whistleblower Gary Shapley. "And, Z, if I get a call or text from anyone involved in this other than you, Zhang, or the chairman, I will make certain that between the...

James Webb Space Telescope diminishes possibility of life on distant exoplanet

A team of international researchers using NASA’s James Webb Space Telescope has ruled out the possibility of life on the distant exoplanet, TRAPPIST-1 c. Graduate student Sebastian Zieba who participated in the study said the research team set out to determine "if rocky planets have atmospheres or not."  "In the past, we could only really study planets with thick, hydrogen-rich atmospheres," Zieba said, according to NASA. "With Webb we can finally start to search for atmospheres dominated by oxygen, nitrogen, and carbon dioxide."  TRAPPIST-1 c is one of seven rocky planets orbiting an ultracool red dwarf star approximately 40 light-years from Earth . Though similar in size and mass, researchers are unsure whether they have similar atmospheres. Nor is it clear whether these plants have enough water, carbon dioxide, and other elements necessary for making an atmosphere and sustaining life.  MASSIVE ASTEROID TO PASS BY EARTH THIS WEEKEND The research t...

Federal judge blocks Florida ban on minors attending drag shows

A U.S. judge on Friday blocked a new Florida law restricting drag performances, the third time this month federal courts have enjoined laws backed by Florida Gov. Ron DeSantis that concern gender or LGBTQ matters. In Friday's decision, U.S. District Judge Gregory Presnell of the Middle District of Florida granted an injunction preventing the state from enforcing a law that bans minors from attending obscene live performances, calling it too broad. Biden blasted for 'F-16' quip about gun rights advocates: 'Blatantly misrepresenting the Constitution'

EXCLUSIVE – President Biden quipped on Tuesday that Second Amendment supporters would "need an F-16" to take on the federal government, a comment that was blasted by some Capitol Hill lawmakers.  "I’m a Second Amendment guy," Biden said at a campaign event at a private California residence. "I taught it for four years, six years in law school. And guess what? It doesn’t say that you can own any weapon you want. It says there are certain weapons that you just can’t own. Even during when it was passed, you couldn’t own a cannon. You can’t own a machine gun. "So what’s the deal with the idea that it’s an absolute — you know, I love these guys who say the Second Amendment is — you know, the tree of liberty is watered with the blood of patriots. Well, if you want to do that, you want to work against the government, you need an F-16. You need something else than just an AR-15." 'DOUBLE STANDARD': Presidential hopefuls slam 'partisan' DOJ following Hunter Biden plea deal

Several 2024 presidential contenders took aim at the "corrupt" and "partisan" Justice Department on Tuesday after it was revealed that Hunter Biden had secured a tentative federal plea deal following an investigation that resulted in a felony gun charge and two tax misdemeanors. "Looks like Hunter received a sweetheart deal and is not facing any charges on the massive corruption allegations. If Hunter was not connected to the elite DC class he would have been put in jail a long time ago," Florida Gov. Ron DeSantis wrote in a tweet shortly after the plea deal was made public. DeSantis' tweet was accompanied by a video of him at a campaign event highlighting the "two different sets of rules" for Americans based on whether they're in "good standing with elite society or not." Group slams Pakistani government alleges frivolous arrests of Afghan refugees

The international rights group Amnesty International called on Pakistan’s government Tuesday to stop what it described as random arrests of Afghan refugees, including those with Pakistani visas. Millions of Afghans fled to Pakistan during the 1979-1989 Soviet occupation of their country, creating one of the world’s largest refugee populations. More than 100,000 Afghans crossed the border to avoid persecution at home after the Taliban seized power in August 2021. The Taliban have announced a pardon and urged Afghans not to leave the country. The majority of Afghan refugees living in Pakistan say they are facing delays in their visa processing and relocation to the United States and other countries. Meghan Markle's rumored Dior deal 'a logical step' to 'cash in' before her star fades author claims

After parting ways with Spotify, Meghan Markle is allegedly seeking a deal made fit for a duchess — and she may have her eyes set on one couture house. An unnamed Beverly Hills socialite alleged to The Mail on Sunday that the Duchess of Sussex is in the process of penning a deal with Dior to "re-invent" her image. The source insisted that the possible bid from her talent agency, William Morris Endeavor, is "all anyone is talking about." A spokesperson for the 41-year-old, WME and Dior didn’t immediately respond to Fox News Digital’s request for comment. "Meghan and Dior would seem like a logical fit," Christopher Andersen, author of "The King," told Fox News Digital. "It's a very tentative first step into the endorsement world and a very upscale one at that." "Appearing in glossy ads for a haute couture house like Dior isn't likely to shake things up the way the Duchess of York did when she started doing commercials f...

Ecuadorian woman who woke up during her wake dies after 7 days in hospital

An Ecuadorian woman who surprised guests at her wake by knocking on her coffin earlier this month, died on Friday after a week of intensive care. Doctors declared 76-year-old Bella Montoya, a retired nurse, dead after she suffered a possible stroke and cardiopulmonary arrest. Ecuador’s health ministry said Montoya did not respond to resuscitation efforts. Her family had previously gathered for a wake at a funeral home on June 9, just hours after Montoya was declared dead by doctors the first time. But everything came to a stop when they heard a sound coming from inside the coffin. Montoya’s son, Gilberto Barbera, told The Associated Press the sound gave everyone a "fright." He also said his mother’s condition remained dire, and she was returned to the hospital immediately.
