'Make America Hot Again' socials bring young conservative singles together in New York City

While New York City is a Democratic stronghold, young conservative movers and shakers are meeting other singles at a new series of events in the Big Apple. Political polarization, particularly that between young men and women, has become an internationally recognized phenomenon in recent years. One example from pop culture erupted earlier this spring when "Love is Blind" stars Sara Carton and Ben Mezzenga did not get married during the season finale because Carton had reservations about Mezzenga's religious and political viewpoints, including on the Black Lives Matter movement. As this polarization continues, some young conservatives, particularly those in left-leaning cities, are relying on events geared towards their political persuasion to find love. Braves outfielder Michael Harris II robs Phillies of three-run homer with sensational snag

Atlanta Braves center fielder Michael Harris II made a sensational catch as he robbed a three-run home run during the fourth inning of the team's 5-4 loss against the Philadelphia Phillies on Thursday afternoon at Citizens Bank Park.  The Phillies were up 2-0 with runners on first and second base in the bottom of the fourth inning. Phillies left fielder Max Kepler smoked a hanging 85 MPH splitter off Scott Blewett and drove Harris back towards the center field wall.  Harris tracked the ball all the way and timed his leap beautifully and reached over the wall to make the catch, and bring back what would have been a three-run home run for Kepler.  CLICK HERE FOR MORE SPORTS COVERAGE ON FOXNEWS.COM With runners on first and second base, Harris quickly fired the ball back into the infield.  After giving up the deep blast to Kepler, Blewett recorded the final out of the inning and left the inning unscathed.  YOUTH BASEBALL GETS MLB TECHNOLOGY UPGRADE AS PERFE...

Democrats don't need a 'left-wing' Joe Rogan, they need to win back the real one

It was hard to concentrate in my congressional office because I could overhear a lively interview with conservative media host Glenn Beck through the thin wall. You might assume I work for a Republican, but I’m chief of staff to progressive California Congressman Ro Khanna. What if I told you it was one of our best interviews in recent months?  They disagreed on President Trump’s deportation efforts and USAID funding, but they agreed on revitalizing manufacturing and leading against China. The  headline for the interview read, "Progressive Democrat sits down with Glenn Beck despite disagreements: ‘We’re all Team America.’" We agreed he’d return soon. Chesky has opened his own home as an Airbnb, writing, "Starting today, my home is now on Airbnb (yes, this is my actual home and I’ll be there when guests are here)." Scientists can detect junk food consumption in blood and urine tests

Blood and urine tests have been found to detect the amount of ultraprocessed foods (UPFs) a person eats, according to new research. Using machine learning, scientists at the National Institutes of Health (NIH) identified hundreds of metabolites (molecules produced during metabolism) that correlated with processed food intake. The team developed a "biomarker score" that predicts ultraprocessed food intake based on metabolite measurements in blood and urine, according to Erikka Loftfield, Ph.D., M.P.H., of the National Cancer Institute in Maryland. PREMATURE DEATH LINKED TO CERTAIN TYPE OF FOOD, STUDY REVEALS The researchers drew baseline data from 718 older adults who provided urine and blood samples and reported their dietary habits over a 12-month period, as detailed in a press release from NIH. Next, they conducted a small clinical trial of 20 adults. For two weeks, the group ate a diet high in ultraprocessed foods, and for another two weeks they ate a diet with no UP...
