A scary scene occurred in the Miami Dolphins -Houston Texans game on Sunday as wide receiver Grant DuBose had to be stretchered off the field with his jersey and pads cut off and his face mask and helmet removed after a bad hit. The Dolphins receiver, who has been used sparingly this season, ran a slant route and quarterback Tua Tagovailoa threw a quick pass to him for a first down. However, Texans safety Calen Bullock crashed down in an attempt to break up the pass, and he did his job but at the cost of hurting the receiver. Just days after the U.S. Department of Agriculture (USDA) issued a new order that all raw (unpasteurized) milk must be tested for bird flu , reports have emerged of animals dying of the virus. In Los Angeles County, the public health department is investigating the deaths of two cats that reportedly consumed recalled raw milk. After drinking the milk, the felines displayed symptoms that included lack of appetite, fever and neurologic issues, according to a press release from the Los Angeles County Department of Public Health. According to an FBI NYC source, a tip was received from the San Francisco Police Department on the possible identity of Mangione following the Dec. 4 shooting in Midtown Manhattan. The particular tip assisted FBI NYC during their investigation and eventual arrest of the 26-year-old Ivy League graduate. JERUSALEM — Just hours after meeting with Secretary of State Antony Blinken and discussing the fight against the Islamic State in Syria, Turkey's foreign minister sent a shocking message to Washington by saying his country's goal is to eliminate the main fighting force of the Syrian Kurds, which defeated ISIS in tandem with the U.S.. The House voted Wednesday to pass its yearly defense bill that would give junior enlisted troops a significant pay bump and work to eliminate DEI programs at  the Pentagon. It passed 281-140, with 16 Republicans voting no. Only 81 Democrats voted yes – 124 voting no – a much larger margin than in years passed when the legislation typically enjoyed bipartisan support.  Many Democrats opposed a provision of the bill that restricts coverage of transgender treatments for minors.  The legislation now heads to the Senate for passage before heading to President Joe Biden’s desk for signature.  The 1,800-page bill known as the National Defense Authorization Act (NDAA), details how $895.2 billion allocated toward defense and national security will be spent.
