Jennifer Lopez claims she could 'give a Ted Talk' on dysfunctional relationships and narcissists

Jennifer Lopez has apparently known some narcissists in her life.

Without naming names, the "Let’s Get Loud" singer joked that she could "give a Ted Talk on human behavior, emotional intelligence and dysfunctional relationships," cracking up as she said the last part.

"PhD in narcissists," she added with a laugh.

Lopez and her "Office Romance" costar Brett Goldstein had both been asked by a reporter from Elle UK what they could speak about with expertise that didn’t involve acting.

She also later professed, "This is my good era. This is my happy era," adding that when she began filming "Office Romance," "I felt like it was starting a new time of my life. I had just went through a lot of changes in my life … actually it began like a year before, but it rolled into all of this time. This past year has some of the best times of my life."

She added, "Everything’s kind of changed and shifted for me in the last couple of years."

She said the "other great era of my life was when I had my kids. I do remember that as a very magical time."

Lopez, who finalized her divorce with Ben Affleck last year, has been married four times.

She was married to actor Ojani Noa at the beginning of her career for just one year, from 1997 to 1998, then she was married to backup dancer Cris Judd for about two years, from 2001 until 2003.

She then dated Affleck, and the couple got engaged before calling it quits in 2004.

Her longest marriage was to singer Marc Anthony, with whom she shares her only two children, twins born in 2008.

She and Anthony wed in June 2004 and their divorce was finalized in 2014.

The "Maid in Manhattan" actress began seeing Affleck again in 2021. She announced their second engagement the next year, and a few months later, they eloped. By 2024, they'd split again, and in 2025, their divorce was finalized.

Last year, the 56-year-old called their divorce "the best thing that ever happened to me."

"Because it changed me," she told "CBS Sunday Morning." "It helped me grow in a way that I needed to grow, become more self-aware. I'm a different person now than I was last year… I realized that the joy is in living and these moments and really embracing life and everything that it brings to you, for the lessons that it brings."

Jim Gaffigan says comedy audiences are tired of political drama and just want to laugh again

Comedian Jim Gaffigan revealed in an interview why he's mostly steering clear of politics in his stand-up material these days. Gaffigan told Variety that comedy fans don’t attend stand-up shows to hear lectures. They go to escape the real world and simply laugh at silly jokes. When the interviewer mentioned the recent crossover between comedy and politics, Gaffigan responded, "People are coming to a show to have a break from some of this drama. That’s not to say there aren’t great comedians who talk about social commentary. The spirit of George Carlin is very important."  And he recalled his political jokes after President Donald Trump's first election victory in 2016 not landing how he'd imagined. COMEDIAN DUSTY SLAY REVEALS HOW FAITH AND SOBRIETY PAVED THE ROAD TO HIS STAND-UP SUCCESS "I remember when Trump was first elected, and my opening act had some political jokes.
